My brief story
Hello! My name is Johanna, I'm from Belo Horizonte, from Minas Gerais, where I graduated in Psychology at PUC-MG, after giving up Mechanical Engineering. I focused my training primarily on Organizational Psychology and worked with Human Resources. From there, I regained my deep interest in Psychoanalysis and dedicated myself to the clinical area. I continued with my training and my practice.
I specialized in “Psychoanalytic Theories” at UFMG.
Personal analysis is present at various stages of my life.
I published 4 books of poems and stories.
I moved to the United States with my family and graduated in Literature, another old passion. At that time, I was unable to attend the office.
Returning to Brazil, I rescued the work at the clinic and the training that is always renewed.
I participated in Lacan Studies at the Sedes Sapientiae Institute for 2 years and am currently studying Winnicott, also at the Sedes Sapientiae Institute.
After the pandemic, my services are online. I didn't think it would be like this one day, but who doesn't need to adjust to changes?

My books

I've always liked writing and this was my first book, where I mixed some styles – opinion chronicle, poems and short stories. I wanted to put many ideas woven into words inside a book, as if it were a box, hence the title. The world of sewing was also represented as a culmination of various feelings.

Life in houses, stories and sewing – This was my second book, which I published two years after the first. At that time, I was already more comfortable with mini-stories, which are very short stories, and I liked to think a lot about what I invested my energy in. And there was no other way: more writing came out! I decided to prepare the material and divided it into three sessions, “Bookcase, Closet and Double Bed” starting from trivial subjects to more intimate themes.

This book was the result of the pandemic. Experiencing the phase of withdrawal and social distancing, I tried to create new classes, as I could. We delved into many stories and produced several others, under the sensitive and professional eye of the dear Flavio Cafiero. Contaria was born as a refuge for an eclectic group of authors who found creative writing a means to alleviate the impact caused by social isolation due to the pandemic.

Fazendo História Project
The project was born from my desire to share the love of reading and show that the act of reading can become a daily and enjoyable habit. Spontaneously, I have been lending books with the aim of facilitating access to some copies. My focus has never been on reading out of obligation, but on encouraging reading.
Through this website, my goal is to increase the number of people reading and the number of copies through donations. In addition, I also share some of the stories I'm reading through book tips, and the ones I'm writing through short stories and poetry.”
